1. Transmission Improvements (2026 update)

New for 2026

  • New shift shaft and shift drum
  • Designed to improve gear engagement and shifting durability
  • Better quality control for smoother gear changes

➡️ 2025 used the previous transmission components.

2. Clutch Hardware Upgrade

  • Higher-strength pre-coated bolts
  • Higher tightening torque spec

Purpose:

  • Prevent clutch hardware loosening during racing.

3. Spark Plug Change

2026

  • Part number visible while installed
  • Lower chance of plug damage during removal

2025 had a standard spark plug without this change.

4. Radiator Cap Update

2026

  • Threaded radiator cap design
  • Easier to open with less force during maintenance

2025 had the older cap style.

5. Exhaust Durability Updates

2026

  • Improved silencer end-cap sealing
  • New flange gasket
  • Redesigned exhaust valve ventilation

Purpose:

  • Better sealing
  • Longer exhaust system life.

6. Ignition / Throttle Improvements

2026

  • Updated digital ignition processing
  • Throttle cable stabilization cap to reduce cable kinking

This improves reliability for younger riders.

7. Maintenance & Service Updates

2026 adds a few small service improvements:

  • More service markers on engine components
  • Unified engine case screw lengths
  • Drain points for fluids
  • Clear Nm torque markings on bolts

These make trackside maintenance easier.

Things That Stayed the Same

Most of the core bike is unchanged:

Engine

  • 64.9cc liquid-cooled 2-stroke
  • Mikuni carburetor
  • 6-speed transmission

Chassis

  • Chrome-moly steel frame
  • Steel subframe

Suspension

  • WP XACT 35 mm air fork
  • WP XACT rear monoshock

Dimensions

  • Seat height: ~730 mm
  • Fuel tank: ~4.5 L
  • Weight: ~54 kg

So performance and geometry are basically identical.
