I can attest to the rod kits being just fine....the new "D" motor for my '08 125 cc has one and it will be put to the test this year.

I even have a couple hidden away in my "safety deposit box" !

Ric,

Sorry, misinterpreted what you were asking. I can appreciate your request, but at the price I would be selling them to the Poggers for, there would be no price break. The only way it could happen is if I were to place an order for 200 rod kits. Even at that it would only reduce the Poggers cost 5% to 7%.

Marc Biro,

In 2007, you left a message on POG about having produced some rod pins of quality? Are you still producing A and B sachs engine rod pins? I could use a few.
Let us know.

Hi all,

for all 6 speed Sachs-crankshafts we can recommend the Mazzucchelli-conrod sets from Italy with silver case bearing. Excellent quality and very low price (50 EUR). The similar conrod sets from Fu Kung, Taiwan are too soft on the pin surface and the lower bearing provides less needles than the original FAG conrod kit being produced for F&S. We've the Mazzucchelli in our internal shop for our club members.

If you want we can combine an order for you.

Best regards

Poggers,
I bought 2 rod kits from Marc Biro the last time he had them made up. I never ended up using them and sold all of my 125cc stuff. If anybody is interested in the rod kits, drop me a line. Cheers.

Hi all,

the conrod kits are all the same. The only difference is if it's 5 or 6 Speed crankshaft. These Italian kits fit perfect on the 6 speed.
They also fit on the 5 speed, but the lower pin is a bit to long.
After pressing of the crankshaft you'll have to shorten the pin.

If you want to order please contact me via email on herculesig[at]aol.com

Best regards

Poggers,
I am on the road with work so it will be Saturday before I can look at the rod kit boxes to see if they are for A or B motors. If there was a choice years ago when Marc made them up, I can't remember which I got but I would assume they are for the B motor. I'll check. Sorry about the confusion. Cheers.

For what it's worth, Andre Horvath has Sachs A and B rod kits listed on his site. I've had good luck with Andre on other items in the past.

Poggers,
I have had many dealings with Guenther Vogt. He is a wonderful person and a great friend. If you order from him you WILL receive your product.
