Appendicitis? Only young people have this problem. Doug, it is good to know that you are still young. Heal quick and God Bless.

Regards,

Tony

Worthless organ anyhow.
Doug,
For a few days afterwards, it will mostly hurt when you laugh - I know - so stay away from anything and anyone that's funny.
Get well very soon, wish you the best.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Doug. Hope there's some purty nurses in that hospital. Just act delirious and you can get away with a lot!

I talked to Doug this PM with the permission of his wonderful Bride. There was a problem during surgery as his appendix bust which made a real mess, but as everyone in this Group knows Doug is and has always been the best and a real competitor when the competition gets tough. Doug was always at the forefront of competition during the old days and still challenges the guys today on their set up and how to ride. I will try and keep everyone updated. Thanks for all the kind posts.

Dang, that will leave a scar! Just adding another one to the collection huh? I've had an "Emergency" appendectomy before. You'll feel a heck of a lot better afterwards and wonder "Why did I wait so long?"

Get well soon!

Doug, I hope you will have a full recovery soon. Best place to be when you are ill is in the hospital. Which hospital are you in? Amherst? Lorain Community? We'll miss your smiling face at the next POG meeting, that is unless you feel much better by then. Joe

Hi POGERS,

Just got off the phone with Doug. He is doing fine and hopes to be home no later then this Tuesday. He is a tough old cookie and we would expect nothing less from him. His wife(Dot)Gave him 2 thumbs up and could not wait to get him out of the hospital. Word has it that all of the nurses were of the same opinion.
See you down Old Dusty,
Amherst Paul Busick

I just visited with Doug and he said he needed a few shims in his transmission and hoped to be out soon as Paul Busik had reported.
